Community Base in Svay Chrum

Mrs. PEN LANG also known as Ming Mok in Khmer, is one of the poorest and miserable Cambodian people. She is living with 10 fatherless and montherless grand children who extremely depend on. With her 70 years of age, she has hug burden to provide food for her beloved grand children, she always goes to the near province of Vietnam to pick up undesirous rice seed for support of her daily lives.

With the fingerpoint of her close neighbour, and simultaneously with our Las Vegas Sun Community base project, our members drove obstructively to her leaf cottage built on unpocessive land in Ta Nou Village, Chambok Commune, Svaychroum District of Svayrieng Province, it's about 65km from Bavet city to the West.

A Step further to SVAYTEAP in Svayrieng Province

In timely response to the demand in reducing the difficulties of miserable life, Las Vegas Sun's community base moved one step further toward its social goals in Svayrieng province. Cash amounted 400,000 KHR with 1 bag of rice, 5 cases of noodle, 10 dozens of canned fish, 12 bundles of fish sauce and soy sauce, 10 packs of seasoning, 5 kilograms of dried fish, 5 kilogram of white sugar, 5 packs of salt, 20 tins of milk, 4 pieces of sarong, 8 pieces off mosquito net, blanket and pillow were delivered to the hand of Ms. KIM SARON, a 76 years old lonely woman living at Sangkoum village, Korkisom commune, Svayteap district of Svayrieng province at early dawn of May 10, 2009.

Without thinking of the obstacles, Las Vegas Sun's community members has play very active roles in bringing those stuff to her hand in a bid to share the amount received from staff efforts from month to month. Even though, the package of donation considerred as a small, but at least it can reduce a weigh of load in living.

1st Charity Donation at KAMPOT

Las vegas Sun's Community base Program has started the first charity project at Kampot

As part of the great effort in accordance with its objective set out, even so far from original location, from Bavet to Kampot, Mr. Sok Sakada, the representative of Las Vegas Sun and as Community base team member, on March 28, 2009, has delivered cash 200,000 KHR, rice 20kg, noodle 5 cases, canned fish 60 tins, fish sauce 3 bundles, soya sauce 3 bundles, seasoning 10 packs, dried fish 5kg, white sugar 3kg, salt 1kg, milk 10 cans, sarong 4 pieces, scarf 2 pieces and blanket 2 pieces to the house of MA KREM, a 90 years old women and SUM PHAN, a 60 years old daughter living in natural hadicap condition at Chres Village, South Beoung Sala Commune, Kampong Trach District of Kampot Province.
